Marion County Children Services

Marion County believes that all children have the right to grow and develop within their own families in a safe home. Families are the true experts regarding their needs and we work jointly with them to determine solutions to assure child safety. When a parent is unable to provide proper care, we believe children should be placed in the least restrictive, most home-like setting while the parents work to alleviate the risk within their home. Should services aimed at strengthening and supporting families prove unsuccessful, we believe that children have the right to be provided with a safe and permanent family.
